In 2010 we were in the process of selling our one bedroomed flat and over the weeks and as it turned out months we had many a viewing. I was working from home a lot back then and would open the door and greet any potential buyers and then let the Estate Agent do his job.
One afternoon a middle aged couple turned up with who I assumed must have been the daughter. She didn’t say a word and just followed the Agent and the couple around the flat. She had long dark hair and was just kind of hanging back. I didn’t think anything of it at the time and put the way she was acting being down to her age. It did seem odd though as we were selling a one bedroomed flat I couldn’t imagine the sleeping arrangements.
When I caught up with the agent the next day he explained how they felt our flat was really nice but they decided to buy another one in the same building on the floor below. Having heard the same thing a few times now it didn’t come as too much of a shock. I did ask him though why they were looking for such small accommodation as there was the three of them. That is when he replied it was only the couple and there was no teenage girl with them.
The flat was just for him as he and his ex wife were separated. She lived in the same building already in another one bed flat and they wanted to be near each other. He was adamant there was no girl.
