On the 27th July 2024 I dusted off my Dowsing rods and EMF meter and ventured out on my first post covid investigation.
Dating back to the 1600’s and originally a Coach House the building has had many different roles over the years. Today it is a Tea Room nestled in the High Street in Frimley.
We arrived shortly after 7pm and as we had the place to ourselves for the night we set about exploring the different area of the property. Some rooms were from the original building and others more modern extensions. Part of the charm of the place is its original oak beams which it is thought were taken from ships that were salvaged for their materials.
We spent the first hour upstairs. Earlier that evening someone had heard footsteps up here and we felt it was a good place to start. From the offset the room felt charged and I honestly thought we were going to be in for a busy night. We tried a number of experiments but nothing happened. As the night went on it got quieter and quieter to the point we all felt there was nothing there. We had a break and went downstairs.
In the back of the property is the larger area with lots of tables and chairs. We made this our next vigil area. Again we tried a number of experiments but there was nobody home.
Unfortunately I have seen this happen at other locations in the past and if they don’t want to come forward for what ever reason they wont. You can go there one week and its madness and another time nothing happens.
We hung around until 1am and decided to call it a night. A couple of us stayed on a bit longer but they reported back that nothing happened.
I still have some recordings to listen through and some EchoVox sessions so if anything turns up I will post it on here.
The Tea Rooms are well worth a visit though and hopefully you will go on night where the spirits are a bit more chatty.
